PDOnline is a tool for all Victorian teachers, both Government and non-Government, to find and book places in Professional Learning and Personal Development courses being run by DEECD Regional offices and selected external providers.

Our mission is to ensure that all teachers are aware of the Professional Learning and Personal Development opportunities that are available to them, and to provide a single, simple system for booking a place when they wish to attend.

PDOnline also allows teachers to enter the details of professional learning and personal development courses attended and not offered through PDOnline, and provides a facility to help keep records for the Victorian Institute of Teaching’s registration renewal requirements.

To access the system, you are required to have an account. For details on how to apply for an account, please visit our ‘Help’ page.

Currently (May, 2009), the system services the needs of seven of the nine Victorian Regional offices - Barwon-SW, Eastern Metropolitan, Gippsland, Grampians, Hume, Northern Metropolitan or Southern Metropolitan Regions. If you are a teacher in a government school within these regions prior to April 2009, you will already have an account on PDOnline. Please read the ‘Help’ page before you send a request for an Account. If you are a recent graduate or a transfer from Loddon Mallee or Western Metropolitan Regions, you may need to request an account, but please read the Help page first.

If you are a provider of professional learning or personal development courses for the teaching profession, you are welcome to request more information on how PDOnline can assist you to reach a targeted audience of teachers seeking to extend their professional knowledge.
